The Gotham model is inspired by the Gotham font, designed by Tobias Frere-Jones for Hoefler & Frere-Jones in 2000, undoubtedly achieving the top in the political propaganda campaign for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential election. The idea on which Frere-Jones based himself is linked to old city signs such as the one placed at the entrance of the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal, creating a fresh and geometric character, essential and without frills
